WHAT IS NEET EXAM ? :
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted in India for students who aspire to pursue undergraduate medical courses (MBBS/BDS) and postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS) in government and private medical colleges across India. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. NEET replaced multiple medical entrance exams in India in 2016 and has since become the sole entrance exam for medical courses in India. The exam is conducted once a year, usually in May, and consists of 180 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. NEET scores are accepted by all medical colleges in India, except for AIIMS and JIPMER, which conduct their own entrance exams.
